Dear Classical Wisdom Reader,
Hallowe’en may have come and gone for the year…
…but scary stories are forever.
Members can check out our e-book Monsters and Myths, which showcases some of the most terrifying monsters from ancient mythology.
And as for the future, be sure to join us for our upcoming LIVE webinar on Rome’s last pagan emperor, Who Was Julian? on Nov 29th at 1PM EST.
His reign may have been brief, but his impact on history was substantial. We’ll be looking at the man and his legacy… Was he a a tragic figure who sought to save Rome from its enemies? Or just a violent oppressor of Christians?
We’ll be joined by Philip Freeman, Professor of Humanities at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. He earned his Ph.D. from Harvard University in Classical Philology and Celtic Languages and Literatures. He is the author of numerous books, including, “Alexander the Great”, “How to Tell a Story”, “How to Grow Old”, “Julius Caesar” and most recently, “Julian: Rome’s Last Pagan Emperor”.
Don’t worry! If you can’t join us live, we will send out a recording to everyone who registers in advance.
You can register for that HERE.
