Interesting observation - personally I think it would be wonderful if women saw this mindfulness in Stoicism and were encouraged to embrace the ideas that come from philosophy. I suppose if the end result is the same, that is good - but it appears to me there is more of a community and culture surrounding Stoicism that would be beneficial for women as well.

Yeah, I'm not crazy about the gendering; I think men have plenty to learn from Buddhist mindfulness, and similarly women from Stoicism. But really, the more people who can learn from either, the better, so I'm just glad to see that both are popular even if it does involve a certain degree of gender segregation.

Which Buddhism and of which age and in which language? They vary so greatly over two millennia, there isn't just one coin but a whole sack full of coins.
