We actually discussed at length whether or not to use gods or God. I decided on both to broaden the concept to span time a bit better and make it relevant for more of our audience.
I know some Greek philosophies approach with a monistic view towards Greek deities but I tend to lean towards what the average non wealthy person would've believed/practiced.I find philosophy great for everyday life but I'm a polytheist not a monist
