SO important and practical! I know someone who swears she is able to listen to a novel and listen to me at the same time, though it's clear she misses much of what I am saying and gets it very wrong.
We have two ears and one mouth so we should listen twice as much. ~ Epictetus
I suspect this is applicable to reading, as well. Do you have any thoughts about this?
Diarrhea of the mouth causes constipation of the ears.
How about the listener who is constantly keying the mic?
