Dear Classical Wisdom Reader,
It’s caught me off guard before…
Here in Ireland, today is Mother’s Day. In our hyper-online modern world, it’s led to some confusion over the years, as it takes place on different date here than in the US.
So if you're in America, you can relax!
Nevertheless, you may want to revisit this week’s article celebrating International Women’s Day, where we looked at three extraordinary women of ancient Rome, including Livia Drusilla, the “Mother of Rome”.
We also had an exclusive podcast for our Members, looking at the life and legacy of Edith Hamilton, the woman who helped popularize interest in ancient mythology in the 20th century.
Check it all out just below, alongside the rest of the week’s resources…

That’s it for this week!
All the best,

Gosh. Apparently I'm one of the first subscribers even though I didn't pay for a founding membership which I probably should have. If you check out International Women's Day, you'll find. that was the communist soviet union that created it. I will not go on here but please follow up with the origines of it. Not ancient. Certainly, facts are worthy for future engagement and the cultivation of new subscribers. Don't.
