Dear Classical Wisdom Reader,
We tend do talk about “the ancient Greeks” in a way that’s somewhat monolithic… As if all the ancient Greeks had the same experiences, and thought and believed all the same things.
The ancient Greeks, after all, had a wide variety of ideas and approaches to life.
Even within just the philosophical tradition, Socrates thought very differently to, say, Aristotle.
This month’s episode of Podcasts with Professors features Anya speaking to Prof. Jennifer T. Roberts about these complexities and differences amongst the ancient Greeks, to give a more complete view of the ancient world.
You can check that out HERE.
Remember, Members can access our FULL archive of Podcasts with Professors, featuring in-depth discussions, fittingly, on a myriad of different topics on the ancient world.
