Artemis is a female god(dess). In times when the US military is trying to exclude women from the highest offices of the military, having the goddess (now of the moon) as an explorer, hunter, lover of nature, is something to celebrate.
I said this when you featured Artemis last time (and knew she would come up again) but I have a problem with all the feminist crap and calling Artemis an inspiration for the long toxic movement and ideology.
But hey, she stayed single and killed some people and many feminists would consider that heroic so maybe it’s fitting after all.
But what still isn’t fitting is naming the program after her. Her connection with Apollo is the only way they’re related, and it’s obvious they only named it that due to the overhyped “putting a woman on the moon” thing. So yeah, that is all.
Artemis feels the most modern of the gods (and pan the most pagan!) she’s a bit vindictive, but I would take her as a model for a daughter.
I really love this piece!
Just Beautiful.
Happy to read this!...

I don’t know what is with the degradation of Artemis but if I were studying Greek I would study with Artemis.
