Diogenes strikes me as an extreme contrarian, and possibly would not be remembered if he had not critiqued the powerful and rich in such a dramatic way. A peculiar mix of sanity and insanity perhaps.
if everyone would be like diogenes, wouldn't the world fall into a state of disrepair? some parts of society are bad, yes, but without agreeing to those rules anarchy, murder and more would run wild...
